For server-side processing (when needed for complex conversions), files are temporarily processed and automatically deleted within 5 minutes. We never store, analyze, or share your files. When server-side processing is required, files are processed in memory and immediately deleted after conversion. Even temporary files are automatically purged within 5 minutes as a fail-safe. Yes, you can safely use ImageToFormat for sensitive documents. Our client-side processing ensures that sensitive files never leave your browser for most conversions. When server processing is absolutely necessary, all connections are encrypted with HTTPS, processing happens in isolated environments, and files are immediately deleted. However, for extremely sensitive documents, we recommend using only our client-side tools (which are clearly marked) for maximum security.

Technical Support

Poor image quality can result from several factors:

  • Quality Settings: For JPEG and WebP formats, try increasing the quality setting to 90-95%
  • Format Choice: PNG preserves quality better for graphics with sharp edges and text
  • Original Quality: Converting cannot improve the original image quality
  • Multiple Conversions: Avoid converting JPEG to JPEG multiple times

Currently, our tools are optimized for single-file conversion to ensure the best performance and user experience. While batch conversion is not available yet, you can quickly convert multiple files by using the same tool repeatedly. The conversion process is fast, and your settings are remembered between conversions. We are considering adding batch conversion features in future updates based on user feedback.
