Image upscaler · paid generation
Upscale any photo up to 4×.
Upload a JPEG or PNG, choose 2× or 4× and get a sharper, larger version with AI-recovered detail. Works for product photos, portraits, scanned artwork and general use.
Generation is not available yet. You can upload and check a photo locally. A verified purchase and sufficient valid credits will be required; checkout is currently closed.

How image upscaling works
- Upload your photo. Choose a static PNG or JPEG you have permission to edit. The local format and content check runs on this device first.
- Choose a scale factor. 2× doubles each side, 4× quadruples it. The output dimensions are shown before you submit.
- Generate when available. An AI super-resolution model reconstructs detail at the larger size. Sign-in, purchase and valid credits are required; a local preview is not server approval.
- Download the result. The upscaled image is available as a JPEG or PNG from your saved works. Compare it with the original at full resolution before use.
What upscaling works best for
- Photos that are sharp but too small for the intended print or display size — doubling a 1,000 px image to 2,000 px.
- Old or low-resolution scans where the content is clear but the pixel count is low.
- Product and portrait shots from older cameras or compressed exports where more detail would help.
- Artwork and illustrations needing a high-DPI version for print.
Very blurry, heavily compressed or noisy images may show artifacts at 4×. Try 2× first on those.
You can crop or adjust a photo in the local editor before upscaling.
2× vs 4× — which to choose
- 2× is faster, uses fewer credits and is suitable for most web, social and small-print outputs.
- 4× recovers more fine detail and is better for large-format printing, posters and archival copies.
- At 4×, a 1,000 × 1,000 px input becomes a 4,000 × 4,000 px output — suitable for A3 print at 300 dpi.
- Both options preserve the original aspect ratio exactly and do not crop.
Credits and output format
- Credit usage depends on the scale factor and model selected. Exact per-task costs will be shown at checkout.
- Output is a high-quality JPEG or PNG matching the input format. JPEG outputs use a high-quality encoding to preserve the model's recovered detail.
- Results are stored in your saved works after a verified purchase.
- Upscaling cannot recover detail that was never captured — it estimates and reconstructs plausible detail from context.
Common questions
Can I upscale an image right now?
Not yet on this public page. You can upload and check a photo locally, but live generation and checkout are not open. A verified purchase will be required when the service is enabled.
What image formats and sizes are supported?
One static PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MiB, 4 megapixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Each dimension must be at least 256 pixels. The output at 4× may be up to 16,384 pixels per side; exact limits depend on the model in use when generation opens.
Will every detail be perfectly preserved?
Upscaling uses AI estimation to reconstruct detail. Fine textures, text and faces may change slightly. Compare the result to the original before final use. 4× increases this effect more than 2×.
Does the local check upload my photo?
The format and content precheck runs on this device only. Nothing is uploaded during the local check. When paid generation opens, submitting requires your consent and independent server checks. Read the safety guidance and privacy policy before use.
What if the upscaling task fails?
A failed task does not release an image and credits remain reserved. Do not submit the same task again; check its status after signing in to see if it can be recovered.
Can I upscale images I do not own?
You are responsible for the rights to your source image. Upscaling does not grant additional rights to the output. Review the terms of service before commercial use.
